ATELIER KUNC architects

The ATELIER KUNC architects studio is made up of a team of young architects lead by MgA. Michal Kunc. The studio specializes in design and realization of modern turn-key family houses and on the creation and realization of design interiors and gardens.

In 2004 ATELIER KUNC architects was awarded the GRAND PRIX 2004 prize for the best interior of the year in the Czech Republic for the project and realization of the Club Restaurant Stromovka at the Tennis Club Stromovka. Michal Kunc and his colleagues are convinced that cooperation between the studio and clients should be enjoyable and not stressful. Therefore, the design of a family house is created with mutual communication between a client and creators of the project – the client must feel that the house is created based on his or her expectations and wishes, and fulfills his or her needs.

When designing family houses and villas, the studio makes every effort in creating comfortable housing and in connecting the interior with an outside green space or garden. Family houses designed by ATELIER KUNC are characterized by airy free spaces with large windows allowing an abundance of sun, and natural transitions between gardens and houses. The portfolio of services of the studio covers the whole creation of a family house from its concept to selection of suppliers, realization of interior, as well as construction and technical supervision at the construction site.
