Being able to go to the mountains whenever you have time. When you want to enjoy fresh white snow, or just need to escape from the hot city in the summer, when you long for peace and want to hear only the rustling of leaves in the forests and bubbling streams, when you want to watch nature fall asleep in the fall and wake up in the spring, but don't want to spend a long time searching for free accommodation. Then the U Ducha Hor brand new apartment house is just for you. Located in the center of Harrachov, it's being built on the site of a mountain guesthouse that was popular among skiers in the middle of the last century. Completion is scheduled for spring 2022.
About the project
The energy-efficient wheelchair accessible building with an elevator will provide a total of 18 units, each with a terrace or balcony, and views of the greenery and the snowy winter landscape that you will never get tired of. The apartments are spread out over two floors; the ground floor is reserved for a modern restaurant and other services. The project is ideally located less than 200 meters from the cable car leading to Devil's Mountain, within easy reach of all services including a grocery store or pharmacy. The apartment house is being built on the side of the former popular Duch hor mountain guesthouse, which in recent years served as an undignified market and gradually deteriorated. Its former significance is evidenced by the fact that a bus stop was named after it.
Apartments:
Apartments have layouts ranging from studios to 3-bedrooms and floor areas from 46 to 102 sq. m. The units will be handed over finished to a quality standard, with a preparation for a kitchen and complete sanitary ware. The facilities will include Heth two-layer wooden floors, interior veneered doors with a clear height of 2,200 mm, a class III security entrance door, anthracite-colored plastic windows with insulated triple-glazed panes, and Kaldewei, Grohe, and Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware. Heating will be central, hot water will be provided by the apartment's own electric boiler with a 120l tank. Attic rooms will have a preparation for air-conditioning. It is necessary to buy a cellar unit, ideal for storing bikes, skis, and other sports or children's equipment. It is also possible to purchase one parking space with a connection to a charging station.
Location:
The place is less than a 2-hour drive from Prague. Named after Count Harrach, one of the first ski promoters in the Czech Republic, it is one of the most important Czech mountain resorts and can offer a complete infrastructure and great conditions for sports and relaxation year-round. Local attractions include a glass and ski museum and the Mumlava Waterfall. Hiking and bike destinations, cross-country skiing trails, and a downhill ski slope are near the building. Outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a footbridge over the Mumlava River or the Anenské Valley, which is covered with white crocus flowers in spring, are just a short walk away.
