Chládek Gardening Center

The gardening tradition in the Chladek family goes as far back as the 18th century and the present well-supplied Chladek Gardening Center is located in the Prague quarter of Stresovice on a piece of land which the great-grandfather of today’s owner once used to garden.

The Chladek Nursery and Gardening Center sells a wide range of house and garden plants, flowers and woody plants. The offer of this gardening center features also summer annuals, balcony plants, roses, decorative woody plants, alpine plant, perennials, subtropical plants, bonsais, creeping plants as well as water and mud plants. All the offered cultivars come from Czech, Dutch, Italian, German and Danish growers while some are grown - in order to ensure top quality - in the gardening center’s own nursery.

Apart from plants, flowers and woody plants the Chladek Gardening Center also offers a wide range of additional products including gardening tools, fertilizers, substrates, seeds for sowing (including grass mixtures), cut flowers, decorations, and in the pre-Christmas period of course also a fine selection of both cut and potted Christmas trees, which are sure to make your Christmas day special. You will surely enjoy your visit to the Chladek Gardening Center all the more thanks to the restaurant conveniently located in the gardening center, which was opened in 2009, offering both cold and warm dishes, coffee and other drinks, as well as a relaxing place for customers to sit and plan the exciting changes they'll make to their garden after an inspiring trip around the nursery.
