CHYBIK+KRISTOF

The CHYBIK+KRISTOF ARCHITECTS & URBAN DESIGNERS studio, with a home base in Brno, was founded in 2010 by two classmates, Ondřej Chybík and Michal Krištof.

The two classmates, during their studies were the winners of several student competitions – one of which got them noticed by a competition sponsor, the Czech company KOMA Modular. KOMA later hired Chybik & Kristof to develop a new employee cafeteria for them in Vizovice. Due to this success the two were offered the opportunity to create the Czech Pavilion in Milan – which would go on to win the Bronze Award in the category of Architecture of Expo 2015 Milano. The Bronze Award as well as their winning design for the Prague Waltrovka district, cemented these two architects in their field and helped them to gain international recognition. This internationally active architectural studio currently has branches in Brno, Prague, Milan, and Bratislava.
