Kostka Hardware Store

The Kostka Hardware Store is located in the Prague quarter of Michle and has been offering hardware goods and household goods as well as metallurgic materials in a traditional location where this sortiment has been sold ever since 1936 when the building was built by Mr Bernauer. It is not without interest that in this case not even the communist dictatorship managed to break the tradition since the sortiment was sold even then under the heading “household goods”.

The Kostka Hardware Store offers in both its brick-and-mortar store and its online e-shop a wide sortiment of quality goods with focus on tools, plumbery products, fittings, connecting materials, wood for D.I.Y. craftsmen, gauzes, furnaces and heaters, metallurgic materials, household products and electro goods. Apart from all these goods, the Kostka Hardware Store has been offering its customers also supplementary materials such as cutting the the fence gauze as well as loading and shipping of all the purchased materials.

The Kostka Hardware Store features long opening hours, every weekday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (with the exception of the metallurgic section which closes at 5 p.m. on weekdays). Given the character of the goods on sale, it is surely good to know that you can easily and comfortably park your car by the store.
