Dox by Qubus

Located in Holesovice in the Dox Center for Contemporary Art is the Dox by Qubus design boutique. Dox by Qubus opened in 2008 but the Qubus Design Studio and Old Town boutique was created in 2002.

Jakub Berdych and Maxim Velcovsky created Qubus to establish a stage for experimenting and implementing new porcelain and glass designs using traditional Czech materials. The result has been successful as Qubus design products are sold at an international level in galleries and conceptual design shops. Qubus also offers unique interior design.

At Dox by Qubus you will find a quirky array of their modern Czech design in porcelain and glass bowls, glasses, vases, candleholders, animal shaped banks and more. The design boutique also offers a variety of other design products such as glassware, porcelain, lighting, furniture, etc. from leading Czech designers including as František Vízner, René Roubíček, Bořek Šípek, Maxim Velčovský, Jakub Berdych, Rony Plesl, Zdeněk Lhotský, Petr Kovanda, Daniel Piršč, Anna Torfs, Zdeněk Vacek, Tactoo, Eva Eisler, Petr Dvořák, Jiří Šibor, Karel Votipka, Markéta Šílená, Věra Nováková, Pavel Opočenský and BeldaFactory. Dox by Qubus also features books about international design, art and architecture in English and Czech.
