The Podolí Swimming Stadium

The Podolí Swimming Stadium, located on the Vltava embankment near the unique historic complex of Vyšehrad, has been offering its services to swimming enthusiasts for more than four decades. Not everyone knows, however, that the Podolí complex offers much more than just swimming pools.

Apart from multiple outdoor and indoor swimming pools, Podolí features saunas (men’s, women’s and mixed), a steam room, a gym, a restaurant and a café, a giant outside spiral chute with its own landing pool, a paddling pool for children plus a rehabilitation center offering massages, water-cures and other services.

The Podolí swimming pool is easily accessible since you can reach it from the center by multiple tramlines within a few minutes. A true advantage of this Prague swimming complex is that it features generous opening hours. Apart from a few exceptions, the whole complex is open from 6 a.m. to 9:45 p.m., which is certainly something busy professionals will appreciate. The Podolí swimming pool offers inexpensive entrance fees with discounts for children, seniors and students.
