AquaDream - Barrandov Aquapark

If you or your children find usual swimming pools a bit boring, you might appreciate the Barrandov Aquapark. This swimming and sports center offers its visitors two giant spiral chutes (62 and 115 meters long), a wild river with an artificial counter-current ideal for good swimmers, water-shots, a whirlpool, an outside beach-volleyball court, a bowling alley, a fitness center, a sauna and many other attractions.

In the colder part of the year the Barrandov Aquapark welcomes its visitors in its 3-story building, which is perfect for all kinds of relaxation and sports activities, during the summer, the visitors love to use the outdoor area of the Aquapark. The Aquapark building features a swimming pool (25 meters long), a fitness center, a sauna and a fast food restaurant. When it comes to the outdoor area visitors can enjoy the sunbathing meadow, an outside swimming pool, a paddling pool and a mini-playground for children, a beach volleyball court, bowling, and a fast food stall and petanque equipment for rent. The true specialty of the Barrandov Aquapark is, however, the unique and healing relaxation pyramid, a copy of the famous Egyptian Cheops’s pyramid, which can charge your body with loads of vitalizing and healing energy.

The Barrandov Aquapark features inexpensive entrance fees with discounts for families, students and seniors and is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the weekends. The outside area is open if the weather is good from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Barrandov Aquapark is easily accessible by the 12, 13, 14 and 20 trams from the center to the Sídliště Barrandov terminal station or by car.
