Svoboda & Williams' business partners and friends met in May at a party that symbolically inaugurated the renowned real estate agency's new era in its brand new headquarters. The blossoming garden surrounding the villa in Bubeneč was full of art, debates about the post-crisis real estate market, and the courage to demolish established practices.

"Cultivating the real estate market is one of the positive outcomes of the recession we've been experiencing for the last two years," says Prokop Svoboda, owner of Svoboda & Williams. "During the crisis, clients became increasingly aware that the service provided by top real estate brokers is a factor guaranteeing success in this slower market, which often deepened our relationships significantly,“ adds Svoboda.

The company's move to a new address was the perfect opportunity for an informal get-together with its team and large "family" of business partners and clients. They got a tour of the interior of the villa, which last year was refurbished by the SAD architectural studio, and the photographs by Matúš Tóth created using AI. "We permanently installed an artwork by the respected glass artist Václav Cigler in the garden. It's another piece in Svoboda & Williams' growing art collection,” says Svoboda.

The successful afternoon culminated with the performance of the band Lab On Fire & Friends and the unveiling of the summer edition of the Selected by Svoboda & Williams magazine. The theme of the current issue is the phenomenon of "Disruption." "This special offers profiles of people who aren't afraid to do things differently and subvert entrenched practices and conventions,” says Editor-in-Chief Tomáš Otta. It offers readers a glimpse into the lesser-know works of prominent creators.

In the as usual visually extraordinary magazine, you can discover why the renowned fashion photographer Matúš Tóth fell in love with AI and accompany the founders of the Refugium environmental company on a trip through Czech wetlands to find out how to connect business with care for nature. You will also find out why Simon Barker is out most successful fashion designer or what it's like to run Christie's auction house. We wish you pleasant summer reading.

We'd like to thank all of the event's partners: the AUTENTISTA wine & champagne bar, DSC Gallery, the distributors of LINO DESIGN and Ligne Roset designer furniture, and Volvo, whose vehicles chaufferred guests to the after party in the Public Interest bar.
