Čiperka Preschool

Čiperka Preschool is a private preschool located in Prague 12 – Modřany for children 12 months – 2 years old. At this independent preschool children are exposed to both Czech and English through various methods that include stories read aloud to them, object naming, fun games, communicating with each other, and overhearing teacher conversations.

Čiperka Preschool's goal is to provide children with educational experiences and information that will facilitate the transition to first grade. The preschool uses the daily program “Step by Step” with other teaching methods as well as alternative pedagogical trends in order for each child to have his or her needs met – individual approach is always key when dealing with children in a classroom environment. Your child's development is aided by a range of activities in the physical, linguistic, musical, artistic, and intellectual realms at Čiperka Preschool. The school's interior boasts different settings such as the Sea Classroom (nautical theme with a built-in boat play area), the Forest Classroom (wooden tree shelves and the invigorating color of green), and the main classroom on the ground floor that is complemented by a grassy garden area with a small grove where children can explore and gain respect for nature.

The daily hours of operation are from 7:00 – 17:00, during which your child can enjoy a half day or full day program under the guidance of experienced, professional teachers.
