Veselá školka

As the Czech name of this preschool (Happy preschool) suggests, a smile will take you a long way. Children at Veselá školka will get professional care, ahigh-quality education program and an individual approach.

The prestigious Veselá školka in Prague’s Stodůlky was founded in 2008 with the aim to present to children and their parents a new and playful teaching method. At Veselá školka they make sure that the environment created for children is pleasant, entertaining and fun, so that children feelcomfortable in it. Children at Veselá školka are educated according to the Veselý genius (Happy genius) program that was created from the basis of the Začít spolu (Step by Step) education program fully accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. The most important principles of this program include emphasis on an individual approach to a child, integrative learning and inclusion of children with special needs. The Veselý genius program is tailored to individual needs of every child. Always at the end of each month an evaluation is made saying how the child was successful at coping with its targets. An individual approach is possible thanks to a maximum of five students per one teacher. The biggest reward for local teachers are children coming and leaving every day with a smile on their faces.

A monthly tuition for a full day attendance is CZK 15,990, covering, among other things, complete board, swimming lessons once a week and costs related to trips that are made once a month. Veselá školka also organizes workshops for parents where they are taught how to improve and promote the talents of their children in their free time.
