Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza founded Artemide in 1958 in Milan. Artemide’s most famous products are the Tizio Desk Lamp from 1972 created by Richard Sapper and Michele De Lucchi, and Giancarlo Fassina’s Tolomeo Desk Lamp from 1986.
