Since 2012, two close friends, Luděk Šteigl and Ondřej Zita, have been producing innovative design furniture under the brand, Master & Master.

In 2017 they opened a showroom situated in Prague in the city quarter of Holešovice, a bustling, sought after area of town, full of design stores, showrooms and tiny boutiques alongside with popular bars where the local lovers of good taste and art meet quite regularly. Luděk Šteigl, apprentice carpenter, and Ondřej Zita, who graduated with a degree in graphic design, entered the market with a brand that presents genuine Czech, masterfully crafted, innovative furniture capable of competing with the best of the best design in Europe. The Master & Master brand supplies original tables and shelf systems to Germany, Austria, Belgium, France and the Nordic countries. The success of the Master & Master brand lies in the combination of high quality materials & craftsmanship and a simple system of product division. The whole assortment of the company is presented on their official website where you will find stylish steel table legs and trestles, available in different shapes and colors, alongside table tops, which come in different sizes and shapes as well. Moreover, you can choose a table stool made of birch plywood (natural, bleached and white), solid oak wood or, in case you prefer the rich color black, a combination of wood and marmoleum. Both the table trestles and tops can be purchased separately, an ideal solution for those who own a brilliant table desk and want to combine it with something new and elegant. All the products presented by the Master & Master brand boast high stability and carrying capacity, yet look lightweight with their minimalistic steel elements – thanks to which they do not detract light or airiness from any interior. The Master & Master company cooperates with several designers, who add their very own authentic style and design to each of the products. For example, Czech designers Michal Malášek and Tomáš Varga created some of the table trestles and Lenka Míková, an architect, designed a unique hanging shelf system. The assortment of the company includes also original steel clothing racks and a steel bookend, which can be bend in the middle according to the amount of books. Recently, the design pieces of Master & Master furniture have been decorating more and more residential and commercial interiors - for example, their products were featured as part of the SQUAT iD23 project (at the end of 2016) in an apartment building on Pařížská Street.
