No Architects

Complex services in the field of architecture, interior design and urbanism, ranging from the initial concept to the project phase and authorial supervision – all this and more is offered by the Prague-based studio No Architects, which was established in 2009 and, since then, has designed and implemented a wide range of various projects.

It is the diversity of both the designed and executed projects what reflects the open-minded attitude of this family studio – architecture according to the No Architects studio has no firm shape and no limits, but, on the contrary, embodies a creative process of seeking the most suitable, specific solution for each situation. The backbone of the No Architects atelier is the duo made of Jakub Filip Novák and Daniela Baráčková. Both Jakub Filip and Daniela graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and have broad experience in the field of architecture and design. Moreover, both of them belong to a group of versatile, creative people and, alongside architecture, are specialized in many other fields and disciplines. Daniela, for example is an architect, designer and artist, who works with intermediality, connecting video, performance, installations, objects and drawings. Jakub Filip, a Renaissance man himself, is an architect with several awards and is an author of satiric comics and articles about architecture as well, and is also the co-founder of the "Versus architekt" association that is specialized in interdisciplinary cooperation and discourses in architecture. In accordance with that, interdisciplinary cooperation is what No Architects put emphasis on.
