Kuřátko Family Center

The civic association Kuřátko Family Center has been operating in Prague’s Libuš since the end of 2001.

Kuřátko Family Center is designated for preschool children and their parents and grandparents from the Libuš district and neighborhood, where they can meet, make new friends and share their experiences. Very popular are rhythmic exercises for kids and their parents every Monday and Wednesday, where by means of songs and simple exercises children develop their rhythmic, musical and locomotive skills. The classes are suitable for children from one year of age. Once a month puppet and marionette shows take place at Kuřátko. Tuesdays and Thursdays are especially dedicated to art activities for both children and their mothers. As early as from the age of one and a half children learn to develop their art skills, draw, stick, stamp etc. Mothers learn how to create Christmas wreaths, Easter decorations, découpage and much more.

Kuřátko Family Center is open from September till June, from Monday till Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 12 a.m. It does not provide babysitting services. The first visit of the center is for free while further attendance costs CZK 40 and if you prepay ten visits they will cost you CZK 300.
