Prague Philharmonia

The Prague Philharmonia (Pražská komorní filharmonie) was the first orchestra in the Czech Republic to organize concerts especially designed for children and their parents.

If you want your children to acquire a positive relationship to classical music from an early age, take them to a Prague Philharmonia concert. These special concerts are aimed at introducing children to various musical instruments and making it possible for them to meet musicians and get to know great works of classical music. The Prague Philharmonia also set up the Notička Children's Club designated for children between 4 and 13 years of age. Here children can not only learn more about music and how to play various instruments, but also develop other esthetic interests and meet new friends.

The Prague Philharmonia is one of the best orchestras in the Czech Republic. Its concerts for children are very popular and the Dvořák Hall in Prague's Rudolfinum is regularly sold out, so you should always remember to book your tickets ahead of time.
