YAMAHA Music School

Music classes for children of various age groups, starting from babies at the age of 4 months, are held by the YAMAHA Music School in many places around Prague and central Bohemia.

Listening to music and musical “babble“ leads to an intense interconnection of the network of nerve cells in the brain of infants and music becomes a second mother tongue for babies who have intense experience with it, a fact that easily explains the importance and popularity of the infant classes. Between 4 and 5 years of age, when the vocabulary of children expands rapidly, children have the ideal preconditions for understanding and enjoying musical relationships. Courses at YAMAHA Music School are divided by children's age into courses for babies and toddlers from 4 to 18 months, children between 1,5 to 4 years and for children between 4 and 6 years. Young children learn in groups, and at the same time from each other. Modern software, as well as improvisation and other creative techniques are used in classes. School-age children can learn to play flute, keyboard, acoustic guitar, and popular singing at YAMAHA Music Schools.

The YAMAHA Music School received a warm welcome from the public when they expanded to the Czech Republic in 1994, and they haven't lost popularity. Originally limited to flute and guitar classes, the range of subjects offered was soon expanded to include electrical guitar, bass guitar, and popular singing.
