The Letná Family Center has been operating, thanks to the dedicated work of many volunteers, since 2004 and provides a fun space for families with small children in its playroom and gym, as well as a wide range of classes.
The regular activity-program of the center offers many activities not only for parents with small children, but also for kindergarten and early school age children, and adults. The Letná Family Center offers art classes for both younger and older children, dancing for pre-school children, English classes, yoga for pregnant women, strollering, exercise classes for infants that focus on stimulating healthy psycho-motor development, and more. The morning program in the center is reserved for small children of pre-kindergarten age, but their older siblings are also welcome. Besides playing in the playroom children between 1 and 2 years of age can take part in the Club every Friday, where they exercise and do art work. The same program, but for children between 2 and 3 years, is on the schedule each Tuesday, while Wednesdays are reserved for mothers with babies under the age of 1 year. Parents with children can come to the playroom and Club without any prior reservation. The Letná Family Center holds various educational lectures on topics covering upbringing of children and partner relations for parents.
Besides its regular program, the Letná Family Center organizes one-off events for the general public, such as carnival and advent programs, marble tournaments, and various fund-raising events.
