Paleček Family Center

For several years now the Paleček Family Center in Prague 3 has been providing an interactive space where families can meet not only within its playroom, but also in its many courses and classes.

The Paleček Family Center offers families with children a cafe with playroom (open every working day), a separate space for babies and toddlers, fair trade drinks and home-made cakes, barrier-free access, Wi-Fi internet connection, courses for children and parents, and much more. Children can attend various language, exercise, art, and Montessori classes, while parents can take part in various interesting lectures and seminars on topics related to parenthood or partnership and marriage, as well as take part in activities like yoga classes with babysitting provided, etc. The Paleček Family Center is the pet project of an independent organization called Projekt Antioch and a group of caring mothers.

On the center's website Czech parents will also find a very interesting section called Knihovna, where information about professional books on topics like parenthood and marriage are published that have so far been published only in English.
